Before using any WeGene services, please carefully read and fully understand this Agreement, especially clauses that exclude or limit liability.WeGene Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this agreement") applies to all your use of WeGene services.If you have any questions about this agreement, you may consult WeGene customer service ([email protected]). By downloading and using our mobile application (the "App"), accessing our website, or otherwise using our services, you indicate your agreement to be bound by the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree to this agreement, please stop using our services.
Please note that Shenzhen Zaozhidao Technology Co., Ltd. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab, provide genetic testing services in compliance with applicable regulatory standards. You need to submit biological samples to Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab. To complete genetic testing services, Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab will be responsible for temporary storage of biological samples before testing completion and will regularly destroy biological samples after testing completion. Our online services include displaying your genetic testing results on the App as authorized by Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab. For matters related to genetic testing results, please contact us through the information provided in "XIII. Contact Information" of this agreement.
I. Definitions
"WeGene" or "we":Shenzhen Zaozhidao Technology Co., Ltd. and the involved service providers, including but not limited to Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab and other qualified cooperative laboratories.
"WeGene services":Services and data analysis provided by WeGene, including but not limited to text, charts, images, videos, other content and information, as well as any versions and content updates we make to them. Content carriers include but are not limited to websites, Apps, E-commerce websites, WeChat official accounts, WeChat mini-programs, and other digital channels.
"User" or "You":Users of WeGene products and (or) services, including but not limited to: 1) Users who access or use WeGene websites, Apps, E-commerce websites, WeChat official accounts, WeChat mini-programs, and associated digital services. 2) Users who purchase and use WeGene testing products and services. 3) Users who provide biological samples to WeGene. 4) Users who provide their genetic data to WeGene.
"Personal Information": Information recorded electronically or otherwise that can identify a specific natural person individually or in combination with other information or reflect the activities of a specific natural person, including but not limited to all or any part of user registration information, personal genomic information, report content, and online behavior information. Personal information includes personal sensitive information as defined in data protection laws and regulations of People's Republic of China.
II. Service Scope
Unless specifically stated otherwise, your use of WeGene services in any form shall be subject to the terms of this agreement, including but not limited to:
1. Uploading your personal information on WeGene App, website, E-commerce website, WeChat official account, WeChat mini-program, or other offline channels.
2. Creating and using WeGene App and website accounts.
As service items continue to develop and change, the terms listed in this agreement cannot completely enumerate and cover all rights and obligations between you and WeGene, and existing agreements cannot guarantee complete compliance with future development needs. Therefore, legal statements and privacy policies as amended by WeGene from time to time, and specific service operation rules are all supplements to this agreement. If you use our products and (or) services, you are deemed to agree to this agreement as amended from time to time.
Please note that you should collect biological samples using the sampling kit provided by Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab and according to the instructions of Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab, and you should confirm that the biological samples you provide to Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab belong to you. If you provide biological samples of others to Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab, you should confirm that you have obtained legal authorization under applicable law or from the legally authorized person. Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab is not obligated to independently verify such authorization. For any losses caused to yourself, the tested person, or other third parties due to your violation of this provision, Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab shall not be liable.
Please also note that we provide genetic data analysis services. If you provide genetic data to Shenzhen Zaozhidao Technology Co., Ltd., you should confirm that the genetic data you provide belongs to you. If you provide genetic data of others to Shenzhen Zaozhidao Technology Co., Ltd., you should confirm that you have obtained legal authorization under applicable law or from the legally authorized person. Shenzhen Zaozhidao Technology Co., Ltd. has no means or qualifications to audit and verify whether the genetic data you provide belongs to you or a legally authorized person, and has neither the right nor the responsibility to audit and demonstrate the legality of the genetic data you obtain. For any losses caused to yourself, the tested person, or other third parties due to your violation of this provision, Shenzhen Zaozhidao Technology Co., Ltd. shall not be liable.
III. Risk Warnings
Before purchasing and (or) using WeGene services, you should fully understand and comprehend the following risks. In these circumstances, we shall not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from your purchase and (or) use of WeGene services:
1.Genetic testing results may contain content you did not anticipate,such as disease risks that may be higher than average levels, the emergence of certain genetic defects or diseases without treatment options, or kinship relationships. This may cause certain psychological and life disturbances for you, affect your health, and even produce social, legal, economic, and ethical impacts. If you are concerned that knowing unpredictable content will adversely affect your physical and psychological health or other health risks, please carefully consider whether to use our services. Based on the foregoing, WeGene specifically advises that genetic testing may reveal unexpected family relationships, including situations where presumed biological relationships do not exist or where previously unknown biological relatives are identified. Of course, genetic testing may also reveal that you have other biological relatives beyond existing family relationships. If you do not wish to see this information, you can turn off this analysis result in the system. If the specific content of such "revelations" is beyond your expectations, you may be psychologically troubled and may even have ethical or legal implications. Please understand that the aforementioned revealed content is based on genetic scientific reasoning, and WeGene provides corresponding results based on your consent. WeGene does not assume any responsibility to you or your family members in this regard, nor does WeGene assume responsibility for any risks (whether legal or moral) that may arise from the re-determination of kinship relationships that may occur in genetic testing. Unexpected discoveries such as disease risks and genetic defects that may be revealed by genetic testing are for your reference only. We recommend that you go to professional medical service institutions for professional examination and diagnosis before making judgments. If you still choose to use our services after evaluating the risks, we shall not be liable for the aforementioned adverse effects or other health risks that may arise.
2.Testing may contain errors due to limitations of current biological experimental technology. Although we have adopted high standards to regulate our laboratory testing technology, due to limitations in current technological development, including but not limited to limitations in the level of understanding of genes and limitations inherent in testing methods themselves, and because applicants (users) have individual differences, even when testing personnel have fully fulfilled their work responsibilities and operating procedures,we still cannot guarantee 100% accurate testing results, and there may still be situations where testing results deviate from users' subjective judgments or clinical diagnostic results. Therefore, even if specific characteristics are not detected, the possibility that the individual (user) has such characteristics cannot be completely ruled out. Please understand and agree that errors or omissions in testing results due to the above abnormal circumstances should not be regarded as negligence, fault, or breach of contract by WeGene in providing services, and users have no right to require WeGene to bear liability for breach of contract or tort such as refunds.
3.WeGene testing results may not be comprehensive due to limitations in genetic technology development.Current human research on genetic technology is not comprehensive, and there are still some genetic information that cannot be interpreted, or the same information interpreted under better technology in the future may be different from current interpretations. Current interpretation of genetic testing results mainly relies on existing academic research conclusions and authoritative public database information. As sample quantities accumulate and related research continues to deepen, interpretation information will become richer and more detailed. As genetic technology develops, re-interpreted results may differ from those previously provided to you. Such differences do not constitute negligence, fault, or breach of contract by WeGene.
4.We can only provide these testing results to you online in our formats (for example, TXT, JSON, CRAM, VCF, PDF). If you require other formats and it is technically feasible, additional fees may apply.
5.Regarding your sharing of genetic information with others (including but not limited to your selection of "displaying certain information to others" in the report sharing function on WeGene websites, Apps, E-commerce websites, WeChat official accounts, WeChat mini-programs and use of report sharing functions; Your insertion of report content in community modules on WeGene websites, Apps, E-commerce websites, WeChat official accounts, WeChat mini-programs; Your operations to determine genetic relationships on WeGene websites, Apps, E-commerce websites, WeChat official accounts, WeChat mini-programs without actively choosing to turn off; Your operations to actively authorize third-party websites through WeGene API, as well as your sharing or actively choosing to make public your genetic information through other means), you should remain prudent, as this may affect your interests in insurance or employment or disclose your personal privacy. We hereby remind you to pay attention to protecting your genetic information. You shall bear all consequences arising from your sharing, providing, or allowing others to access (i.e., making public) your genetic information or testing results. Please also note that due to uncontrollable external third-party data crawling, data that you actively display publicly on WeGene websites, Apps, E-commerce websites, WeChat official accounts, WeChat mini-programs may be obtained. We are not responsible for such third-party actions. Please carefully choose the scope of information disclosure and properly anonymize personal information.
6. We may de-identify or anonymize your personal information that we collect for our own statistical analysis, scientific research, medical research and development, and development of related technology products.
7. You understand that you will not obtain any rights to any research results or commercial products developed by us or our partners by providing us with your biological samples and genetic information, nor will you receive any compensation for this.
8.Please note that you have the right to request deletion of the genetic data you provided according to our privacy policy and the procedures described on our official website and App, but after deleting the data, if you need to obtain testing services and reports again in the future, you will need to pay. If you delete your account, you will not be able to use our subsequently launched paid or free genetic testing, genetic analysis, report updates, and other services.
Special Risk Warnings Regarding Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab:
1.Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab may require you to provide samples again. Situations requiring resampling may include DNA extraction failure, failure to follow the instructed sampling methods (for example, collecting samples immediately after eating or rinsing the mouth), machine malfunction, submission of non-human samples, or contamination caused during the sampling process. In such cases, Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab staff will contact you to arrange resampling.For sampling failures not caused by Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab, resampling may require you to pay certain additional fees.For users who have completed saliva collection or testing, refunds are generally not available, except in cases of errors attributable to Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab. For users located outside mainland of the People's Republic of China, you shall bear any logistics costs or potential customs-clearance fees associated with resampling or product returns. You are responsible for understanding the applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction before purchasing. While Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab will make reasonable efforts to provide services, if services cannot be delivered due to local legal restrictions, a refund may be offered; however, any logistics costs already incurred and the cost of the sampling kit are non-refundable. 2.Genetic testing services and genetic interpretation reports provided by Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab are for your reference only, do not constitute medical institution diagnostic reports, and are not equivalent to medical consultation opinions or clinical diagnostic results you obtain at hospitals. They may not be used alone to diagnose, prevent, or treat any disease or confirm any of your health conditions, nor should they be used as evidence for any judicial or other professional identification. You should not change your health habits solely based on recommendations from these services.If you need to make significant changes to your personal lifestyle and habits, please consult a doctor first.If you delay confirmation or treatment of any disease due to reliance on testing results, or make significant changes to your personal lifestyle and habits, resulting in any loss or damage, Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab shall not be liable.
3.Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab may de-identify or anonymize your personal information that it collects for statistical analysis, scientific research, medical research and development, and development of related technology products, by Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab or in cooperation with third parties. WeGene invites all eligible users to participate in WeGene Research on a voluntary basis. Participation is based upon an Institutional Review Board-approved "Informed Consent" document. Research participation can be withdrawn at any time without affecting standard genetic testing services.
4.If you wish Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab to conduct targeted testing, analysis, or research on your body fluid samples, or to provide targeted research and analysis of your genetic information beyond this service, you need to specifically declare and clearly submit your consent to Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab.
5.You understand that you will not obtain any rights to any research results or commercial products developed by Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab or its partners by providing your biological samples and genetic information to Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab, nor will you receive any compensation for this.
IV. Account Use and Security
1. During account registration and use, you should ensure that you provide true and valid registration information and should promptly correct and supplement it when corresponding personal information changes. If we discover or suspect that you provide false personally identifiable information to us, we have the right to suspend or permanently stop providing services to you. If your privacy information is leaked due to your failure to update registration information in a timely manner, such consequences shall be borne by you.
2. You are responsible for properly safeguarding your personal account and password and bear full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. If your account is stolen or password is lost due to poor safekeeping on your part, or if you allow third parties to use your personal account to log into our website, App, or WeChat mini-program, you shall bear all consequences arising therefrom. If this causes losses to us, we shall have the right to claim full compensation from you.
3. You need to ensure the validity and legality of updated mobile phone numbers, names, avatars, and other information, as well as all content published on WeGene. If you provide any materials that violate laws and regulations and competent authorities' provisions, violate morality, or violate WeGene user behavior norms, or if WeGene has reason to suspect that you are conducting any malicious operations, WeGene has the right to restrict or ban your account functions and refuse your current and future use of all or any part of this service. Any user shall bear full responsibility for ensuring the authenticity, correctness, completeness, applicability, and currency of the registration materials published on WeGene.
According to relevant laws and regulations, WeGene hereby solemnly reminds you that for any text, photos, or other materials (hereinafter referred to as "the content") published or uploaded through this service, whether transmitted publicly or privately, the content provider shall bear responsibility. WeGene only provides content storage space for users and assists users in ensuring content correctness, completeness, and quality through automated (for example, artificial intelligence) or manual review. You have anticipated that when using this service, you may encounter unpleasant, inappropriate, or disgusting content. Under no circumstances shall WeGene be responsible for user content. You can report such content through the reporting function within WeGene. After verification, WeGene has the right to lawfully stop transmission of any aforementioned content and take corresponding actions, including but not limited to suspending violating users from using all or part of this service, preserving relevant records, and reporting to relevant authorities.
V. Prohibited User Behaviors
1. You may purchase genetic testing services and submit testing samples on behalf of others. Before providing biological samples of others, please ensure that you have obtained their full authorization, unless you, as a legal representative of minors, persons without civil capacity, or persons with limited civil capacity, agree to this agreement and provide biological samples of such subjects on their behalf.
2. You may not share your user account with others or assist others in any way to use crawlers, spiders, or other methods to crawl content from WeGene websites, Apps or other software.
3. You may not use WeGene services for any purposes that violate applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
4. You may not use the services we provide to you in any way that may damage or interfere with the services, or interfere with other users' use of our services.
5. You may not attempt to obtain materials and information related to the services we provide through channels other than those we provide for obtaining relevant materials and information.
6. You may not use any information obtained through the services to identify or attempt to identify other users, attempt to access, collect, and (or) use other users' data without their permission, or use information obtainable through the services for any litigation evidence collection purposes.
7. You may not harm minors under 18 years of age in any way through the use of our services.
8. You may not interfere with or interrupt servers or networks connected to our services, or violate any policies or rules of networks or websites connected to our services.
9. You may not use WeGene website, Apps, WeChat official account, or services that may involve other platforms to publish, transmit, disseminate, or store information containing any of the following content:
????1) Content that violates fundamental democratic principles or undermines public order.
????2) Content that threatens public safety, discloses confidential information without authorization, or incites violence against institutions.
????3) Content that spreads false information about public institutions or deliberately misleads the public about factual matters.
????4) Content that incites racial hatred, ethnic discrimination, or promotes hostility between different cultural groups.
????5) Content that promotes harmful cult activities or spreads dangerous superstitious practices that may cause physical or psychological harm.
????6) Content that spreads rumors, disrupts social order, or undermines social stability.
????7) Content that spreads obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, terror, or incites crime.
????8) Content that insults or defames others or infringes upon others' legitimate rights and interests.
????9) Content that incites illegal gatherings or activities that pose immediate threats to public safety.
????10) Content representing unauthorized organizations engaged in illegal activities.
????11) Content that infringes upon others' privacy and personal information protection rights.
????12) Content that infringes upon others' intellectual property rights, trade secrets, and other legitimate rights.
????13) Advertising information and spam.
????14) Content that maliciously fabricates facts or conceals the truth to mislead or deceive others.
????15) Any materials containing software viruses or any other computer codes, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.
????16) Content containing other content prohibited by laws and administrative regulations.
10. You may not copy, upload, publish, publicly display, encode, translate, transmit, or distribute (including "mirroring") any component of WeGene website or App or any content to any other computer, server, website, or other media in any form.
11. Except for partners officially authorized by WeGene or promotional activities, you may not resell our products, services, and any content related to products in any form.
If you violate the above requirements, WeGene has the right to delete corresponding illegal and non-compliant content and take measures to terminate, completely or partially suspend, or restrict your account usage functions or stop your use of WeGene services without prior notice to you. If your actions cause losses to WeGene, we have the right to require you to provide corresponding compensation, including but not limited to any regulatory penalties imposed on WeGene as a result of your actions or claims by third parties through litigation or other means. The scope of compensation includes but is not limited to fines, compensation, and corresponding litigation fees and attorney fees paid by WeGene.
VI. User Behavior Standards
Users agree not to use this service for any illegal or improper activities and to comply with the "WeGene User Behavior Standards" between WeGene and users (see "Appendix: WeGene User Behavior Standards" of this agreement).
VII. Intellectual Property
1. Ownership of commercial value and scientific research results generated from biological samples you provide belongs to us (or our designees).
2. Content in WeGene services, including but not limited to text, images, photos, sounds, music, trademarks, logos, interfaces, data, technology, software, codes, and any derivatives related thereto, are all owned, controlled, or authorized by us (or our designees) and are protected by laws and regulations (including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property rights and anti-unfair competition laws).
3. Without WeGene authorization, you shall not use, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, directly or indirectly publish, distribute, transmit, or publicly disclose any content contained in or made available through WeGene services, nor use such content for any other commercial purpose in any medium or manner.
4. WeGene shall not bear legal responsibility for delays, inaccuracies, errors, and omissions generated by the above content or generated during the transmission or submission of all or part of the above content, and any damage compensation arising therefrom or thereby.
5. All rights to any software used by WeGene to provide services (including but not limited to any images, photos, animations, videos, recordings, music, text and additional programs, and accompanying help materials contained in the software) belong to the copyright holder of such software. Without permission from the copyright holder of such software, users may not reverse engineer or reverse compile such software or otherwise discover its original code, or implement any acts suspected of infringing copyright.
6. Users may not use WeGene website, Apps, WeChat official account, and WeChat mini-program to upload, store, disseminate, or otherwise transmit files containing images, photos, software, or other materials protected by intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark rights, portrait rights, and privacy rights, unless users own or control corresponding rights or have obtained necessary recognition from intellectual property owners.
7. Without WeGene authorization, no one may use any third-party software, plugins, external programs, or systems, to view or obtain any relevant information about WeGene or users contained in WeGene.
VIII. Personal Information
You should carefully read and understand WeGene "Privacy Policy" document to understand how we collect and use your personal information during your use of WeGene services.
IX. Purchase Channels
Currently, WeGene sales channels include the WeGene official website (www.sofreetech.com) and authorized sales channels. We will entrust Shenzhen WeGene Medical Inspection Lab to ship products (for example, sampling kit) to you. If you purchase products and services through unauthorized channels, we cannot guarantee complete provision of various testing services. If you purchase invalid products through other channels, we have the right to refuse to provide services.
X. Disclaimer
You acknowledge and agree that WeGene may engage third-party service providers (including laboratories, shipping providers, and data processors) to deliver services. WeGene ensures all third-party providers sign appropriate data protection agreements and comply with applicable privacy standards. Users' personal information may be shared with these providers solely for service delivery purposes.
You acknowledge and agree that to more effectively store your information and provide more efficient and convenient services, we have the right to upload and save some or all data information generated during your use of WeGene to third-party cloud service storage, and retrieve relevant data information according to your functional instruction requirements. If we cannot provide normal software services due to interruptions or other functional failures of third-party cloud services, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to coordinate solutions, but we shall not be liable for any losses caused to you thereby.
You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for time delays not caused by WeGene responsibility (including but not limited to DNA collection failures caused by user reasons, delivery delays caused by logistics companies, and time delays caused by force majeure).
You acknowledge and agree that if any third-party uses your personal information according to circumstances listed in WeGene user agreements and privacy policies, you must go to that third-party service platform to carefully read and understand relevant user agreements and privacy policies. We shall not be liable for any disputes arising from such third-party's use of your personal information.
You acknowledge and agree that when WeGene provides your personal information according to legal provisions or government-related policy requirements, this shall not be deemed a violation of this user agreement and related privacy policies. We shall not be liable for any losses caused to you thereby.
You acknowledge and agree that except for situations prohibited by law, WeGene shall not be liable for any indirect, derivative, punitive, incidental, or consequential losses or damages (including profit losses), regardless of whether such losses or damages are foreseeable.
In addition, we shall not bear relevant legal responsibility for tangible or intangible losses caused by the following reasons:
1) Any service interruptions or obstructions that cannot meet your requirements due to hacker attacks, computer virus intrusions, blocking of illegal content and harassment information, government control, and any other network, technical, communication line, or information security management measures.
2) Any losses caused by your improper use or other personal reasons.
3) Losses you incur due to communication line failures, technical problems, network, computer failures, system instability, software quality, and other problems from third parties such as operators and software providers.
4) Other situations of losses caused by force majeure.
XI. Agreement Modification and Termination
WeGene may modify this agreement from time to time to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, under whose jurisdiction this agreement is governed, or to address legitimate business needs. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any material changes and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent to continue using our services. You can view the latest version of this agreement terms on the WeGene official website. If you continue to use WeGene services after changes to this agreement take effect, you shall be deemed to agree to the effective changes.
If any of the following circumstances occur, WeGene has the right to interrupt or terminate services provided to you without notice:
1. Personal information you provide is untrue or inconsistent with registration information and you cannot provide reasonable proof.
2. For security reasons or other necessary circumstances.
3. Due to your delay in performing contractual agreements or other breaches of agreement that make it impossible to achieve the purpose of this agreement.
4. Due to force majeure making it impossible to achieve the agreed purpose between both parties.
5. You delay payment for purchased services and still fail to pay after reasonable notice and within a reasonable period.
6. You violate relevant laws and regulations.
7. When required by the applicable laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, or pursuant to lawful requests from competent regulatory authorities acting within their statutory jurisdiction.
You may terminate your WeGene account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us via Email at [email protected] using the registration Email address linked to your WeGene account, along with a termination request and reason for closure. We will process account closure after confirmation of your identity. Prior to termination, you may back up any data obtained at your own discretion. After termination of your WeGene account, WeGene will have no further obligation to provide, return, or otherwise make available any data to you.
XII. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
The execution, effectiveness, construction, performance, amendment, and termination of this agreement, as well as the resolution of any disputes arising hereunder, shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved as follows:
- For users in the People's Republic of China: Through arbitration in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China, conducted in Chinese.
- For international users: Through arbitration in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China, conducted in English and Chinese.

Appendix: WeGene User Behavior Standards
1. Principles
1.1 To maintain a healthy ecological order of WeGene software (hereinafter referred to as "WeGene"), better protect users' legitimate rights and interests and good user experience, and comply with applicable laws, you must follow the "WeGene User Behavior Standards" (hereinafter referred to as "this standard") when using WeGene services.
1.2 WeGene users' activities on the WeGene platform must comply with current laws and regulations. WeGene will handle violations according to relevant laws, regulations, and user agreement rules.
1.3 This standard is an integral part of WeGene "WeGene Service Agreement". Please carefully read this standard before using WeGene services to ensure you fully understand the content of each clause in this standard. Unless you accept all content of this standard, you have no right to use WeGene. Your use of WeGene will be deemed acceptance of this standard and agreement to be bound by its content.
2. Usage Standards
Violations include but are not limited to:
2.1 Publishing pornographic and pornography-adjacent content:
- Spreading obscene and pornographic content, including soliciting prostitution and hookups.
- Publishing audio, text, animated images, external website links, QR codes, and other content with pornographic implications or provocative nature.
2.2 Publishing any advertising-related information. Examples: Micro-business, recruitment, credit cards, loans, cosmetics, digital products, online stores, cosmetic surgery, and other advertisements or one-on-one sales promotion.
2.3 Threatening, slandering, defaming, provoking, abusing, discriminating, mocking, and insulting others.
2.4 Misappropriating others' materials, including but not limited to the following misappropriation behaviors:
- Unauthorized publication and use of enterprise names or trademarks already registered by others, infringing upon others' exclusive rights to enterprise names and trademarks.
- Unauthorized publication and use of others' names, photos, and ID numbers, infringing upon others' reputation rights, portrait rights, and other legitimate rights.
2.5 Impersonating WeGene official accounts:
- Publishing, using, or parodying WeGene logo and other existing intellectual property content that is identical or similar, or content that is easily confused with existing WeGene product design themes and appearances.
- Maliciously slandering, insulting, or mocking WeGene and related products and technologies.
- Impersonating WeGene assistant staff to send information to users.
2.6 Behaviors that violate applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- Activities that threatens public safety or national security; Incites violence, hatred, or discrimination against any group; Promotes illegal organizations or activities; Or deliberately spreads false information intended to cause social harm.
- Trading drugs, counterfeit currency, firearms and ammunition and controlled knives, prohibited drugs, and fake certificates.
- False social behaviors, fraudulent behaviors, and other dishonest behaviors violating social morality for profit purposes.
- Employing or inducing others to engage in terrorist, violent, and other activities.
2.7 Publishing bloody, violent, terrorist, disgusting, and other content that makes people uncomfortable, including but not limited to:
- Spreading real scenes of humans or animals being killed, disabled, shot, stabbed, tortured, and other injured situations.
- Content depicting violence or abuse of children.
- Publishing information about revenge for others, violent debt collection, claiming underworld identity, and other information that may disturb public order.
2.8 Publishing phishing website links, website links and QR codes containing Trojan viruses, and other content that may affect users' information security.
2.9 Using external programs and other malicious behaviors, including but not limited to:
- Using plugins, external programs, or other third-party tools and services to access WeGene and related systems without WeGene written permission.
- Using external programs or artificial means to affect WeGene normal operations.
- Maliciously attacking WeGene and related systems.
- Maliciously collecting personal information of WeGene systems or other WeGene users.
- Creating, publishing methods and tools related to the above behaviors, or operating or disseminating such methods and tools.
- Using virtual machines for registration, login, or use.
2.10 Engaging in gambling or disguised gambling.
2.11 Using WeGene services to direct traffic to other platforms, which WeGene review system determines may lead to fraud or other illegal activities.
2.12 Publishing content about fake base stations and number-changing software on the platform, including but not limited to:
- Using number-changing software to impersonate others for fraud.
- Promoting fake base stations or number-changing software, such as introducing and promoting information about fake base stations or number-changing software; Demonstrating the effectiveness of fake base stations or number-changing software; And persuading others to use fake base stations or number-changing software.
- Selling fake base stations or number-changing software, such as publishing information about selling fake base station equipment or number-changing software; Publishing information about purchasing fake base station equipment or number-changing software; And inquiring about or publishing sales channels for fake base station equipment or number-changing software.
2.13 Other behaviors reported by users that violate applicable laws or disturb WeGene platform's social environment.
3. Punishment Mechanism
For the above violations, some functions of the WeGene account will be disabled, interactions with others will be restricted, and WeGene has the right to block violating content.
For serious circumstances or repeated violations, WeGene has the right to ban and freeze accounts and take related measures such as prohibiting speech. The specific time and types of measures are determined by the nature and degree of user behavior. For violations involving crimes, WeGene has the right to transfer account information to judicial authorities. If violations of laws or user behavior standards are discovered in others' accounts during use, feedback can be provided on the reporting page, and we will handle them promptly after verification.
