The only new feature that I find useful is the sliding bar for the chromosome chart that allows the user to see how the ancestry composition estimate varies as the confidence interval changes under Scientific Details. The new Carrier Status reports are useless for most users because few people carry any of those DNA variants.

?I do applaud 23andMe for revising their health-related reports based on the most current scientific literature (partly due to FDA requirements) because new research often revises, improves or even refutes the findings of the initial studies. I hope that, as a new startup, WeGene can keep up with the scientific literature. In addition, since many of the studies that you draw on in your reports use only subjects of European descent, I suggest that you tell your users that a genetic variant's effect on an East Asian may differ if the original research used only subjects from a different population.
